About Vertical Screen

Vertical Screen is a catalogue of vertical short dramas compiled by an independent editor. These serials are shot for an upright phone and released in episodes lasting a minute or two. Thousands of them share near-identical posters, so every record here follows one fixed layout: summary, story facts, genre, date of entry, and the languages a title also exists in.

Scope of the catalogue

We describe series; we do not make them. Vertical Screen is not a studio, a distributor or a streaming platform, and it holds no rights to any work it records. Each title, poster and plot element remains the property of its owner.

Playback

The preview player on an entry page fetches episodes directly from the platform that distributes the series, off servers belonging to that platform or the rights holder. No video request is made before you press play, and only the opening episodes are offered. The remainder of a series is watched in the platform's own app or website.

Delivery through Cloudflare

Our pages travel over Cloudflare's network, which keeps short-lived copies of them near readers and filters out abusive requests before they reach the origin server.

Funding and commissions

The "Watch all episodes" buttons, and a number of other outbound links, are affiliate links. When a reader follows one, the platform concerned may pay this catalogue a commission. Such payments have no bearing on how a record is written or where it is placed.

Records kept about readers

Nothing beyond an ordinary server log. There are no accounts or forms here, and no page asks for a name or an email address. For series that need an unlock code, the code reaches your clipboard solely through your press of the continue page's button. The privacy page lists each item.
