Three days before Elara is due to give birth, her husband Julian travels to snow-covered mountains with Iris, the woman he loved first. When Elara goes into labor at two in the morning, she calls Julian seventeen times. Each call connects only to the sound of Iris laughing in the wind. Their baby arrives too early and does not survive. Iris later uploads a vlog featuring Elara's raw anguish for public consumption. Without speaking a word, Elara removes Julian's name from every legal document, signs the divorce papers, and walks out of their shared life.
