Lucy shoulders every domestic duty for relatives who treat her labor as an entitlement. They abandon her at a remote mountain rest stop during a storm, forcing a 37-kilometer trek through relentless rain. She arrives to find her luggage thrown away and social media posts showing the family celebrating her absence. Done with the exploitation, she blocks all contact and moves to the western grasslands. The household collapses without her unpaid work; guilt trips and offers of compensation fail to sway her. She opens a flower shop and finds peace.
