Elena Brooks dedicated nearly a decade to Harrington Medical Supply, reaching age thirty-eight as a seasoned professional. On the day she secures a crucial client account, new COO Emily terminates her employment under the guise of restructuring. The dismissal arrives while Elena is actively going into labor, merely thirty days before her equity stake would fully vest. The betrayal deepens when she learns her own protégé, Megan, facilitated the decision. Further investigation reveals two additional pregnant colleagues suffered identical treatment, transforming a personal injustice into a coordinated pattern. Elena shifts from passive acceptance to strategic retaliation against the company that discarded her.
