Nine months pregnant and indebted, surgeon Evelyn Hart is betrayed by her mother-in-law Margaret, who orders doctors to prioritize the newborn over Evelyn. She delivers Leo, who is seized immediately, then discovers a second twin, Noah, and flees the hospital convinced the first has died. Six years pass with Evelyn raising Noah under an alias. Her husband Damian awakens from a coma believing another woman mothered Leo. At a fencing tournament the boys meet, realize they are identical, and secretly trade identities. Evelyn is hired as Leo's physician, pulling her back into Damian's orbit while hidden DNA tests and a sealed medical file expose the conspiracy.
