Combat medic Liam joins the Kingdom of Eldron's nanny competition to pay for his sister Iris's PTSD treatment. His reflexes stop an anaphylactic crisis threatening the infant princess, making him the palace's first male nanny. Nursery staff sabotage him constantly, yet Princess Sophia observes his steady hands and battlefield-honed psychology reaching her depressed sister, Princess Elara. Meanwhile, Liam discovers the Regent Uncle is poisoning the Queen and preparing a coup. As the conspiracy tightens, Liam and Sophia draw closer. When the coup erupts, Liam shields the royal family, is captured, tortured, and shot protecting Sophia. After recovery, he rejects royal privilege, opens his own clinic, and proposes to Sophia as an equal. Sophia ascends as Queen with Liam beside her as husband, healer, and the little princess's most trusted nanny.
