Jennifer Huckabee's body developed early, prompting her protective brother to assign his best friend as her guardian. From their first meeting, the man's gaze fixated on her physically. After college, he became her employer and initiated a covert sexual arrangement where he dictated her transformation while she complied. For four years the affair remained hidden. The equilibrium breaks when his former fiancée returns from abroad; he leaves Jennifer's bed at night to greet the other woman at the airport. Confronting them, Jennifer endures his claim that she initiated everything while he was drunk, and watches him treat the ex-fiancée with tenderness. Recognizing the relationship's hollowness, she agrees to the Sinclair family marriage proposal and departs.
