Ethan trains for sports while managing severe heart failure, relying on emergency medication to survive. His teammate Sebastian, consumed by jealousy, fabricates chat logs that paint Ethan as a fraud, spikes his water with poison, and hides the pills that keep him alive. Ava, who is both Ethan's girlfriend and his coach, accepts the forged evidence without question. During an intense heat drill Ethan collapses; instead of helping, Ava seals him inside a metal shed and blocks any rescue attempt. Four hours later he is dead.
