Poisoned by His Love: Premise and Stakes
Lily Watson's Impossible Choice
Twenty-five-year-old nurse Lily Watson faces the loss of her entire family when hitmen working for Dominic Castellano corner her on her half-sister Victoria's wedding day. With Victoria gone, the criminals demand a substitute bride. Lily steps forward, trading her freedom and safety for her relatives' survival, entering a marriage she believes may end in her death.
Dominic Castellano's Deadly Reputation
Dominic Castellano controls a mafia organization and carries a reputation for ruthlessness amplified by rumors that he murdered his previous wife. That suspicion hangs over the ceremony, turning the marital bond into a potential death sentence. Lily must navigate a household where the man who now holds legal power over her may also be a killer hiding behind wealth and authority.
A Marriage Built on Coercion
The union begins with a gun to the head rather than a vow of love, establishing a dynamic where every interaction carries the weight of the initial threat. Lily's medical background offers a skill set that may prove useful or dangerous inside Castellano's world. The premise centers on whether she can protect herself and her family while bound to a man whose true nature remains unproven.
