Reborn I Chose the Dragon: Premise and Plot Overview
Previous Life Betrayal
Stephanie dedicated her former existence to raising the giant wolf Claude, trusting him completely. That loyalty ended when Claude turned against her, joining forces with her sister Garcia to cause Stephanie's death. During the fatal confrontation, the small gecko Alex sacrificed himself to shield Stephanie, despite suffering abuse at Garcia's hands.
Rebirth and a Different Choice
Returned to life, Stephanie watches Garcia claim Claude as her own companion. Rejecting that path, Stephanie instead seeks out Alex while he remains in his diminished gecko form. She commits to healing the curse afflicting him, altering the dynamic that previously led to tragedy.
Divine Dragon Revelation
Alex responds to Stephanie's care by revealing his authentic nature as a divine dragon, transforming into his true form to defend her. His emergence brings Garcia's history of magical beast mistreatment into the open, shifting the conflict toward accountability for past cruelty.
