Plus-size student Tessa has long admired her classmate Chase from the stands. Following a loss by his team, teammates dare her to offer water to rival ace pitcher Cole as a prank. He accepts the gesture, then leads his squad to victory over Chase and immediately begins courting Tessa, insisting he noticed her before the stunt. When a leaked kiss triggers vicious body-shaming from peers, Cole publicly counters the abuse with roses and a direct request to be his girlfriend.
