Chloe, who runs a dessert shop, is saved from thugs by Kane, a massive yet bashful stranger who mentions red bean soup. She hires him as an apprentice, unaware he was dispatched by criminal forces to protect her. Kane’s clumsy charm hides lethal skill, and his cakes draw crowds while a blackout embrace and a strawberry apron deepen their bond. After kidnappers seize Chloe, Kane rescues her, revealing his true role. She responds by asking him to teach her combat. When her father is attacked, Chloe becomes an underworld leader and, alongside Kane, dismantles the mastermind Vincent, converting the gang into a dessert-chain business. Kane shifts from bodyguard to boyfriend and they run the shop together.
