Eldest Dracul daughter Haley spent eighteen years deemed magically barren by a family heirloom her mother Clara worshipped, while twin Jenny basked in prodigy status and maternal warmth. The necklace's verdict justified Clara's indifference toward Haley, whose heart finally stopped one winter night. A Magical Investigator later dismantled the device, exposing it as a simple life-sign monitor with no power to measure magical ability. Haley's lingering spirit witnessed the revelation, offering a final farewell stripped of hatred or love, choosing only to reclaim the freedom denied her in life.
