Vance heiress Ella is lured by husband Finn to Heartbeat Island, a heart-shaped tidal landmass, for a supposed babymoon. Finn departs with Ella's adopted sister Lour, revealing they murdered Ella's brother-in-law Caspian to claim the hundred-billion-dollar fortune and intend the rising tide to drown Ella and her unborn child. Ella escapes the flood by climbing a coconut tree, then endures starvation, storms, and predators in a rainforest treehouse. She gives birth to daughter Anaya on the shore. Meanwhile, Finn and Lour poison grandfather Otto and stage a wedding to seize the empire. Caspian, alive after surviving the earlier attack, tracks Ella's message-in-a-bottle signal and rescues her by helicopter during a shark encounter. Ella returns to expose the conspirators with audio evidence; Lour wounds Finn in a knife attack, and both are arrested.
