Sophie Norton collapses with a burst appendix while her parents, brother, and fiancé Joel Graham prioritize her sister Yvette's eighteenth birthday celebration. Stranded outside the operating room, Sophie signs the form herself, recognizing this as the ninety-ninth instance of familial favoritism.
