Fresh graduate Ben ends up in the proctology office of Ethan, his stepfather's son, after a steady habit of spicy food causes painful hemorrhoids. The initial digital rectal exam leaves Ben humiliated, yet the two keep crossing paths as Ethan monitors his recovery with late-night visits and strict dietary warnings. Beneath Ethan's clinical reserve lies quiet affection, and Ben soon finds himself craving those encounters enough to deliberately trigger flare-ups. Their push-pull dynamic escalates when Ethan temporarily withdraws, Ben attempts dating someone else, and a follow-up appointment forces a confrontation that clears longstanding misunderstandings. With family acceptance, the pair acknowledge their feelings, move in together with a cat, and begin healing each other's emotional scars.
