Evan is born into a dragon clan as a sickly illegitimate child whose damaged scales brand him as worthless, drawing only contempt from his kin. When Kael, the original White Dragon King, stirs within him, dormant authority ignites and white flame erupts from a body once dismissed. Rivals converge from every direction, forcing Evan to wield power that demands sacrifice with each surge. The fiercest strength emerges not from domination but from the drive to shield a mother who never abandoned him.
