A witch heroine breaks a petrification curse on a paladin, a noble, and an elven prince by signing a marriage contract that gives them five years to wed her or revert to stone. She spends those years protecting the trio, but a forest witch infiltrates their group disguised as a frail woman and poisons their trust. The three men turn on their savior, seize her staff, and shatter her heart. She departs and accepts an invitation from the Demon King, recognizing him as a boy she once rescued.
