Second Chance After a Mob Evacuation Betrayal

The FBI Leak and Forced Registration

After an informant compromises East Coast safe houses belonging to the Five Families, the Commission orders every associate to register at a neutral church within seventy-two hours. Completing registration secures a place on the evacuation convoys; once the list is sealed, no additions are allowed. The protagonist urges compliance, knowing the deadline is absolute.

Viola Romano's False Promise

Viola Romano claims to be the Chairman's daughter and asserts her father has already reserved spots for everyone on a priority convoy. She convinces the group to cancel their registrations, dismissing the official process. When the protagonist objects, Viola accuses her of jealousy, while boyfriend Matteo Russo sides with Viola and tells her to accept a lower status.

Death and Return to the Decision Point

In the previous timeline, the protagonist reported the deception to the Commission. Viola was exposed, everyone registered in time, and Viola died in an FBI raid. After relocation, Matteo shot the protagonist in the back while the rescued associates watched coldly. She awakens again on the day Viola made the evacuation promise, retaining full memory of the betrayal.
