Viper Prince, Wolf Knight: The Gladiator and the Prince
Caius: The Half-Blood Gladiator
Caius occupies the lowest rung of the orc kingdom as a half-human gladiator. His primary motivation is saving his dying mother, which drives him to accept a knight's contract with the Serpent Prince. This desperate choice positions him as a bridge between the oppressed human class and the ruling elite, forcing him to navigate lethal arena combat and palace intrigue simultaneously.
Zeno: The Traumatized Serpent Prince
Zeno holds the title of Serpent Prince yet carries deep psychological wounds that complicate his royal status. He enters the knight's contract with Caius, initiating a dynamic defined by initial hostility. His position makes him a target for the power-hungry human Queen, requiring him to rely on a partner he initially distrusts while confronting the kingdom's rigid racial hierarchy.
The Queen: Architect of Conspiracy
The human Queen operates as the central antagonist, leveraging her authority to engineer court schemes that threaten both protagonists. Her power hunger fuels a conspiracy that upholds the existing racial order, placing her in direct opposition to the gladiator-prince alliance. Defeating her machinations becomes the prerequisite for dismantling the hierarchy and establishing a new realm founded on equality.
