Huang Yimei spends a decade chasing Gu Tingxiu, only to be abandoned in a remote suburb where a brain tumor develops. Surgery removes the tumor but selectively erases every memory of Gu Tingxiu, leaving her indifferent to his presence. His childhood sweetheart, He Yuwei, manipulates the situation to inflict further pain, prompting Huang Yimei to resign, sell her home, and return to her parents. An arranged engagement brings Fu Jingshen back from overseas; though she initially declines, she later joins his company and a genuine bond forms. When He Yuwei deliberately crashes a car into Huang Yimei, the trauma restores her lost memories. Gu Tingxiu hopes for reconciliation, but Huang Yimei affirms her love for Fu Jingshen.
