The Fake Marriage at the Heart of Rent a Billionaire CEO for Thanksgiving
Emma and Alex: A Night That Changed Everything
Emma and Alex share a secret history from six years ago, a wild night neither has fully addressed. Now she hires him, unaware he is a billionaire posing as a rental husband. Their connection predates the contract, giving every forced interaction a charge the premise never explains but constantly exploits.
The Daughter Who Binds Them
Emma's daughter becomes the catalyst for Alex's violent intervention. The threat against the child transforms a business arrangement into a paternal claim, forcing Alex to reveal strength and wealth he concealed. The girl's presence raises the stakes from social embarrassment to physical survival for everyone involved.
Aunts and an Executive as Opposition
Snobby aunts and a toxic Oracle executive form a united front against Emma, creating a layered antagonist force. Their combined snobbery and aggression isolate the protagonist, making Alex's sudden, hypercar-arrival rescue feel like the only possible resolution to a conflict engineered to humiliate her.
