Rent a Billionaire CEO for Thanksgiving: Premise Breakdown
Emma and Alex's Hidden History
A single night six years earlier links Emma and Alex, though neither recognizes the other when she hires him to pose as her spouse for Thanksgiving. The arrangement begins as a simple transaction to appease judgmental relatives, but the shared past creates an invisible thread between them. Emma remains unaware that the man playing her husband is actually a billionaire operating undercover.
The Oracle Executive's Attack
Holiday tension escalates when a toxic Oracle executive, encouraged by Emma's snobbish aunts, attempts to assault both Emma and her daughter. The threat transforms the family gathering into a dangerous confrontation. The executive's aggression targets the very people Alex has been hired to stand beside, raising the stakes far beyond social embarrassment.
Alex's Violent Intervention
Alex abandons his cover by arriving in a roaring hypercar and crushing the attacker's wrist to shield Emma and her daughter. The brutal defense obliterates the aunts' pretensions while revealing his true capacity for violence and protection. His actions expose the gap between his rented role and his actual power, forcing a collision between his secret identity and his growing attachment to the family.
